Aaron Rosa, Founder
Aaron has spent his life moving between very different worlds. Naval aviation, software engineering, journalism and pastoral ministry. Each one has shaped the way he approaches evangelism.
A graduate of the US Naval Academy and former Naval Flight Officer, he later worked as a software engineer for a defense contractor, learning to make sense of complex systems and translate information into clarity. Those instincts followed him into ministry, especially in public housing communities, where he learned to slow down, listen, and earn trust long before speaking.
Aaron went on to serve as a missionary with Estuary, helping shape outreach across Anne Arundel County and training believers to engage their neighbors with compassion and truth. His studies at Westminster Theological Seminary grounded that work in Scripture and theology, while his background in journalism kept him focused on real stories and honest communication.
Today, Aaron leads The Hood Shepherd, using ESRI demographics, community mapping, and AI-driven insight to understand neighborhoods at the block level and equip believers to share the Gospel with clarity. He lives in Maryland with his wife and children, continuing to shepherd the spiritually curious one household at a time.
